Pastor Joshua Nathan encountered Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour in 1983, beginning a life shaped by faith, service, and obedience.
On 31 October 1992, he received a clear pastoral calling through the charge in 2 Timothy 4:2: to preach the Word faithfully, correct and encourage with patience, and teach with care.
He pursued that calling at Jos ECWA Theological Seminary, where his theological foundation and passion for ministry deepened. He began full-time pastoral service in 2002 and was officially ordained in 2012.
With a heart for teaching and discipleship, Pastor Joshua is known for clear, compassionate, Spirit-led preaching. His desire is to help believers understand God’s Word and discover the fullness of their identity in Christ. His teaching has reached people in Nigeria and beyond, both through local pastoral ministry and conference speaking.
Throughout his pastoral journey, he has served within the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) and helped pioneer churches in Kaduna and Abuja, Nigeria. Through that work, he has helped nurture communities in both spiritual life and growth.
Pastor Joshua carries the heart of a shepherd. He longs to see believers practise the Christian faith as faith in action and truth in life.
He has been joyfully married to Tricia Nathan since 2003, and they are blessed with two children. His life continues to testify to grace, obedience, and an unwavering commitment to advancing God’s Kingdom.
